What is Order Fraud Detection?
Order Fraud Detection is an advanced fraud prevention system designed specifically for Prestashop and WooCommerce stores. It automatically analyzes customer data and order patterns to identify potential fraud risks in real-time, helping you protect your business from fraudulent transactions.
How does the fraud detection work?
Our system tracks any orders you set as non-deliverable. When a new order is placed, we check the customer against our database of previous failed orders and suspicious activities to generate a risk assessment and alert you to potential fraud.
How do I install the plugin?
- Download the plugin from our website.
- Upload the plugin files to your WordPress admin panel (Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin)
- Activate the plugin
- Configure your API settings with your provided API key
- The system will automatically start monitoring new orders
Do I need technical knowledge to set it up?
No! Our plugin is designed to work out-of-the-box with minimal configuration. Simply install, activate, and enter your API key. The system will automatically start protecting your store.
What are the system requirements?
- WordPress 5.0 or higher
- WooCommerce plugin installed and active
- PHP 7.4 or higher
- Active internet connection for API communication
How are fraud alerts generated?
When our system detects a customer with previous failed orders or suspicious patterns, it automatically:
- Adds a fraud alert note to the order in your WooCommerce admin
- Flags the order for manual review
- Provides risk level assessment (low, medium, high)
- Shows the number of previous failed orders for that customer
Will it automatically cancel suspicious orders?
No, the system does not automatically cancel orders. Instead, it flags suspicious orders for your review, allowing you to make the final decision. This prevents false positives from affecting legitimate customers.

How is usage tracked?
Your usage is tracker monthly based on:
- Customer Checks: Each time the system analyzes a new order
- Fraud Alerts: Each time a fraud risk is detected and flagged
You can monitor your usage in real-time through the plugin dashboard.
What happens if i exceed my limits?
If you approach your plan limits, we’ll notify you in the dashboard. If you exceed your limits, the system will also let you know and you have the option to either wait for your quota to reset upon the next billing cycle or upgrade to a higher plan.
How do i upgrade or downgrade my plan?
contact our support team at support@orderfrauddetection.com to change your plan. Plan changes can take effect immediately.
What if the plugin conflicts with other plugins?
Our plugin is designed to be compatible with most WordPress and Prestashop plugins. If you experience conflicts, contact our support team for assistance. We’ll work with you to resolve any compatibility issues.
Data & Privacy
How is customer data handled?
We take data privacy seriously. Customer data is:
- Transmitted securely using HTTPS encryption.
- Stored in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Only used for fraud detection purposes.
- Never shared with third parties.
- Automatically purged according to retention policies.
Is the system GDPR compliant?
Yes, our system is designed with GDPR compliance in mind. No personal identifiable data is shared between the stores such as name, phone or addresses. Only email address is checked which falls under GDPR article 6(1)(f)Lawfulness of Processing. We also have the tools to completely remove any customer data upon request.
